Ask about allergens when you order: US food law names nine major allergens (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and sesame), and kitchens can tell you which dishes contain them.
Restaurant inspection results are kept by the city or county health department; many publish them online or post the latest grade at the door.
For table service a tip of 15–20% is customary; at counter-service places tipping is optional.

Let me tell ya how I had to take a number at a buffet!!! 😭😭😭 I waited maybe 20min and about 25 numbers before me, so they do move quick. Now, it looks outdated and depressing but BAE-B! Was everything seasoned?!?!?! Hell yeah!!!!! Everything I ate was good- not soggy, old , bland, nor burnt but actually full of flavor! I've never been so shocked in my life at a buffet. It was packed because they can cook y'all🥹 now idk if this is an everyday thing or if I got lucky but imma be back to check in a month or so 🤣🤫
